Visit the Gallery Above at the J between now and June 26 to view our new exhibit, the Stars of

David Project. Artist Jennifer Lewis is the creator of the Stars of David project, an ongoing body

of work that visualizes the scale of Jewish lives lost during the Holocaust. Each 11 x 17 panel

contains 20,000 meticulously hand drawn Stars of David. Upon its completion, there will be 300

panels totaling six million stars, representing six million Jewish lives lost during the Holocaust.

Every 8–12 weeks, the gallery features a new exhibition—bringing fresh perspectives, stories, and

creativity to our campus. In alignment with the Lewis JCC’s mission, exhibitions are open to Jewish

artists or artists presenting Jewish-themed artwork. We invite artists of all disciplines—painting,

photography, mixed media, textile, and more—to submit their work.

To apply, please submit 3–5 digital images of recent work, an artist bio and statement, contact

information, and a link to your website or portfolio.
